The RoleThe Incentives team advises on all aspects of employee incentive plans, including:Design and implementation of executive and all-employee share schemesSupport with Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs)Regulatory and compliance issuesExecutive tax planning and cross-border schemesIPO and M&A-related incentive supportOngoing operation and communication of share plansThe practice is balanced across standalone advisory work and transactional support, involving significant cross-border exposure and a healthy mix of high-growth private companies and listed corporates (main market and AIM). Example MattersAdvising on multi-jurisdictional incentive schemes for global tech, biotech and gaming companiesSupporting significant corporate transactions including private equity processes and sales to EOTsDesigning and implementing HMRC-approved and bespoke incentive arrangements for FTSE 250 companiesAbout YouYou'll be a qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with experience gained in incentives, tax, employment, or corporate law. Ideally, you will have:Exposure to HMRC-approved and unapproved schemesKnowledge of growth shares and EMI optionsA proactive and collaborative approachA strong interest in equity incentives, employee engagement, and corporate governanceThose coming from accountancy firms or with cross-disciplinary experience are also encouraged to apply.
