
Conveyancing Legal Secretary

- Typing and formatting conveyancing documents (e.g., contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements)
- Managing client files (physical and digital)
- Scheduling appointments and updating calendars
- Answering phones, handling emails, and responding to client inquiries
- Preparing initial client care letters and forms
- Drafting and sending standard letters to clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors
- Requesting and reviewing property searches
- Ensuring compliance with conveyancing regulations and firm procedures
- Keeping accurate records for audits and professional indemnity insurance purposes
- Proven experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing.
- Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of relevant legal documentation and processes.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including case management software.
