ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work full-time at a SEN School in Birmingham after Easter.About the role:
  • You play a pivotal role in providing essential support to students with diverse learning needs within the School.
  • Your primary responsibility is to create an inclusive and nurturing environment that facilitates the academic and social development of students with special education needs.
  • Work ccollaboratively with educators, parents, and other support staff to foster a comprehensive and supportive educational experience for students with special needs.
  • Full time role to begin immediately with the possibility to be ongoing for the right SEN Teaching Assistant

About you:To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will:
  • Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism, and sensory needs.
  • Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
  • Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
