- Assess students' needs and provide targeted support for their learning.
- Establish positive relationships with students, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support inclusion within the classroom.
- Communicate effectively with students to support their learning and promote independence.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities tailored to students' needs.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
- Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies and individual behavior plans.
- Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive learning environment and support curriculum delivery.
- Enhance students' learning across various subjects and learning environments.
- Utilize ICT effectively to support learning activities and student development.
- Prepare resources and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Comply with school policies and procedures related to child protection, health, safety, and confidentiality.
- Foster positive relationships with external agencies and professionals to support student progress.
- Contribute to school activities and ethos, including out-of-school learning initiatives.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with SEN experience.
- Proficiency in using ICT tools for educational purposes.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Good levels of literacy and numeracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a dynamic school environment.
