Job Title: Deputy ManagerProvision: Children's Residential HomeWhere you will be based: Newcastle, NE27The Service Users: Children aged 7 to 17 with LDSalary: £37,800 per annumThe Company:
  • Number of children’s homes in the group: 10 across the North East and Greater Manchester
  • Other services they offer: Supported Living / Care Leavers
  • Company Ofsted track record: Good Across all the provisions
  • Growth Plans: Expanding their services to support more children and young people both with Children EBD and LD Residential and Care leaver services.

  • Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent
  • Experience: Previous role as a Deputy or Assistant Manager or Senior Residential Support Worker in the Residential Child Care sector
  • Driving Licence: A full, valid, UK driving licence for manual vehicles
  • Fluent in English: Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Other Skills: IT proficient and the desire to learn new skills
  • Understanding of: Safeguarding children, legislation relating to residential childcare, and confidence in supervising care teams
