This role will play a pivotal role in the Accounting & Finance team, providing accurate financial reporting and analysis for a highly reputable Financial Services firm in Cardiff with a global reach. This exciting role requires someone who is proficient in accounting and financial management and likes leading a team from the front.
  • Oversee accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, providing business partnering insights to inform business decisions
  • Support the Senior Finance Team in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Contribute to the management of external audits
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Work with various teams to improve financial efficiency and performance
  • Manage a small team, providing guidance and support as needed for those around you.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies.

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes

  • Excellent leadership abilities and ideally previous experience in managing a team
  • Proficiency in financial management software
