Realize your potential by joining the leading performance-driven advertising company!As an Online Content Editor in Amsterdam, you'll be responsible for reviewing and curating content that appears in mobile news feeds for Dutch and Belgian French-speaking users across major smartphone platforms. You'll work with leading global OEMs to ensure Taboola's content recommendations are timely, relevant, and high-quality - reflecting the interests of local audiences in the Netherlands and Belgium.Your role will be critical in shaping content feeds that inform and engage millions of users each day.To thrive in this role, you'll need:
  • Native or professional fluency in Dutch, Belgian French, and English
  • 2+ years of experience in digital journalism, editing, or publishing
  • Deep familiarity with Dutch and Belgian media, politics, and popular culture
  • Ability to work independently and manage content curation with minimal supervision
  • Technologically savvy, with comfort using editorial or content management tools
Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience working with content recommendation platforms, SEO, or mobile content delivery
  • Background in news curation, editorial policy, or audience engagement
How you'll make an impact:As an Online Content Editor, you'll bring value by:
  • Reviewing and selecting relevant news and editorial content for local mobile news feeds
  • Ensuring selected articles meet Taboola's standards for content policy, legality, recency, and source diversity
  • Applying strong editorial judgment to ensure vertical/category balance and cultural relevance
  • Monitoring news trends and adapting selection accordingly
  • Flagging any content risks, policy violations, or misinformation concerns
  • Supporting platform quality with consistent and timely content decisions
