Start Date: ASAP 🛡️ Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking professional and reliable Security Guards to join our dedicated team at Birmingham New Street Station. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff, and the premises. Key ResponsibilitiesPatrol station platforms, concourses, and surrounding areasMonitor CCTV and respond to incidentsAssist with crowd management and passenger queriesPerform bag checks and access control when requiredWork closely with British Transport Police and station staffWrite clear and concise incident reports RequirementsValid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licenceExcellent communication and conflict resolution skillsMust be physically fit and able to work on foot for extended periodsA calm and professional manner under pressurePrevious experience in a transport or high-footfall environment is preferred DesirableCCTV Licence (bonus but not essential)Experience working in public transport or busy urban locationWhat We OfferCompetitive pay: £12.21 - £13.00/hour (based on experience)Paid holiday and pension schemeUniform providedOngoing training and development opportunitiesImmediate start availableCan you describe a time when you successfully handled a conflict or difficult situation in a public setting?"
