- Educated to master's level or equivalent experience
- Qualification in Change Management or equivalent experience
- PRINCE2 Practitioner level or equivalent project management qualification or experience
- Epic Certification or other EPR configuration qualification. (Equivalent to a postgraduate qualification)
- Extensive knowledge of clinical, administrative and/or operational workflows and processes within a hospital environment
- Experience of managing significant operational budgets
- Experience of delivering benefits in a healthcare setting through the implementation of technology
- Experience of managing complex, strategic projects or areas with complex working practices
- Experience of line-managed staff, including performing appraisals
- Previous NHS experience
- Experience of supporting the delivery of benefits and changing management in a healthcare setting
- Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of budget management, business case development, financial planning and benefits realisation
- Exceptional analytical and project management skills
- Demonstrable ability to influence, negotiate with executives and motivate senior clinical staff, medical consultants and/or other senior managers
- Ability to resolve problems and make decisions based on complex facts or situations using the appropriate analysis, interpretation or comparison of a range of options
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to lead, manage and motivate several teams into achieving a common goal
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems and highly proficient in standard software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Understanding of Information Governance, SOPs and other governance, national and professional standards of practice or other regulations
- Experience of delivering benefits in a healthcare setting through the implementation of technology
- Experience of Epic or other EPR configuration
- Ability to handle sensitive and contentious issues, managing resistance to change effectively
- Epic Certification or other EPR configuration qualification
- Able to cope with unpredictable and intense situations
- Able to prioritise tasks to achieve deadlines whilst working under significant pressure, with frequent interruptions
- Ability to impart complex information and knowledge and/or present to others in a clear and concise manner
- Is self-aware, demonstrating an adaptive leadership capability; self-motivated and pro-active
- A leader, by example with a strong sense of quality and equality.
