We're currently working with a Local Authority based in the North-West, who are looking for a locum Property Lawyer to join the team on an initial 3-month contract.The position is due to start immediately and the hourly rate is between £50 - £60 per hour, subject to PQE.The role can be conducted on a remote working basis, and previous Local Government experience will be essential for the role.Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Handling a range of property law matters, including leases, licenses and sales and purchases of land, landlord and tenant matters, and disposals and acquisitions
  • Supporting development projects including drafting and completing conditional agreements for lease
  • Provided detailed advice in all areas of freehold and leasehold property law and to carry out research when necessary
  • Experience of Academisations and CPO's would be helpful
Experience required:
  • Commercial Property Law
  • Relevant Professional Qualification - Solicitor, Barrister, FCILEX
Working hours:
  • Open to full-time and part-time options, minimum of 25 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday
