Our client, a large UK engineering firm, is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Warrington, to deliver high-quality Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) designs for infrastructure projects across sectors. You will be involved with one of their major partners in the water utility industry. You'll ensure compliance with BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations, manage designs from concept to completion, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical solutions into complex projects.What You Will Need
  • HNC or Degree in a technical engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience delivering electrical installation designs in the water utility sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of BS7671 (18th Edition) and familiarity with CDM Regulations 2015 as a 'Designer'.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD LT, Relux/Dialux, Trimble (Amtech) Pro Design Suite, and Microsoft Office; experience with Aveva, Navisworks, and Revit desirable.
  • Expertise in hazardous area design (intrinsically safe calculations), instrumentation loop diagrams, cable calculations, and network diagrams.
