Salary: Up to £44,310 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and delivering exciting, creative lessons that engage and inspire
  • Monitoring and assessing students' progress, ensuring personal development and wellbeing are prioritised alongside academic achievement
  • Collaborating closely with our expert multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing, effective learning environment
  • Using innovative approaches to bring learning to life in and beyond the classroom

  • Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Is passionate about teaching pupils with SEN, particularly autism and complex needs
  • Brings creativity, patience, and dedication to the classroom
  • Communicates clearly and compassionately with pupils, families, and professionals
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a committed and caring team
About UsHambrook School is in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. We opened in September 2023 and secured an Ofsted 'Good' rating in just 7 short months!We help pupils excel by providing a structured, nurturing approach, alongside a broad, balanced, engaging and extraordinarily rich curriculum.All our pupils have a diagnosis of Autism and an EHCP. We have been inundated with requests of places from Sussex and Surrey Local Authorities and therefore need additional staff to impact the lives of more pupils. We are therefore looking for the perfect person to join us for this next stage of our journey.We offer bespoke personalised care that allows each pupil's needs to be addressed, and their capabilities fully realised.
