Job Category: CateringJob Description:Salary £24,404 - £24,790 per annum | Permanent, part time | 27.50 hours per week | Catering | West Street PrimaryUnit catering supervisorLancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the serviceYou will work as part of a team in West St Primary School in Colne providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children.Key responsibilities:Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plansDirect and/or supervise other employeesOrder supplies and store deliveriesMaintain records and stock controlWhat we are looking for:Recognised catering qualification and/or food hygiene certificate would be desirableExperience of catering for large numbers is also desirableWorking Hours/Days:Monday to FridayTerm time only27.50 hours per week, although hours are variable depending upon school meal uptake.Plus four cleaning days in holidays.
