This role is looking for someone who has experience of inspecting or installing either of the following- Cavity wall insulation, Loft insulation or External wall insulation.
The role will involve frequent travel around the Southeast area, so you must be comfortable being on the road. You do not need to have inspection experience, as you will partner up with an experienced inspector who will teach you the ropes in this area.Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections to ensuring compliance and to industry standards.
- Provide information and guidance to the companies whilst conducting the inspections.
- Complete technical reports and detail areas of non- compliance.
- Keep up to date with all relevant legislation, regulations and technical documentation.
- Liaise with clients and communicate relevant inspection reports to the necessary administration team.
- Provide information and advice on the range of services provided.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with manufactures and other bodies to agree any changes that may need to be made.
- Liaise closely with clients to ensure that work and inspections are carried out in accordance with the deadlines.
- Manage diary and travel arrangements
- Take part of ISO 9001 Audit annually- training provided.
- Experience with understanding the insulation industry- ideally Cavity Wall insulation, Loft Insulation or External wall insultation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication- must be able to write technical reports and verbally communicate with clients.
- Flexible to travel daily on the road within the Southeast region and the occasional overnight stay.
- Experience of ACOPS' (Approved Code of Practice).
- Competent with IT systems (must be proficient with using MS Teams)
