Job Description:Role overviewAs a senior member of the team, your role is to activate an offering for Ipsos by bringing to life client-oriented deliverables that can be utilised by multiple customers. The role will look to create best practice that can be lifted and shifted across existing and new markets.The consultancy offer is identified as a way for Ipsos to expand its existing footprint and to enter new markets through building our cross-media Ipsos presence with clients and the broader media industry.You will work closely with the commercial, product and data analytic teams to bring approaches that meet our client challenges and maximise our data capability. brief overview of the role, including unique selling points, the reward of this role (non-Financial)What will I be doing?Delivering the Cross Media Custom Analytics PropositionThis role will draw on the core data sets created from within the Audience Measurement product framework at Ipsos. The offering entails measurement across print, video and audio. This role will shape the existing and new services into a clear framework to deliver new and repeatable revenue streams into Ipsos.
  • Working with clients across industry sectors to understand how online measurement data & analytics can help their business and bring to life through the provision of a suite of approaches.
  • Identify use cases and provide relevant insight and analysis that will drive recommendations and actions into the client.
  • Work with and identify potential data partnerships to enhance our deliverables and continue to progress our core offering.
  • Develop expansion plans for the Cross-Media team, demonstrating what skill sets and attributes will drive ongoing growth.
  • Sharing out the data and analytics capability in a simple way to upskill sales teams to drive penetration and initial lead generation within our audience measurement team and the broader Ipsos organisation.
  • Work closely with our existing client teams, Media Development and the wider Ipsos Client organisation.
The core panels provide the basis for consumer led information that can be applied to multiple client sectors and the lead role will help to define 'where to play' for Ipsos and how best to accelerate client penetration.The role will require working closely with the Audience Measurement leadership teams and specifically with the global product leadership team for Cross-Media, alongside the commercial and analytic teams. There are key markets such as the UK and Australia where the initial focus will lie but with a view to demonstrating how these approaches can be adopted elsewhere.The role will provide the opportunity to deliver a strategy for growth whilst requiring time to be at the client, demonstrating through proposals how Ipsos can deliver on client issues. This is a growth area, and the successful candidate will be expected to provide input into the planning process at Ipsos to identify investment that can lead to accelerated growth.Establish and grow the Cross-Media Custom Analytic team.As outlined above this is as an expansion area and the successful candidate will look to define the right mix of team skills and members to bring the growth to reality. It will be important to be able to identify the requirements to shape the broader team to be 'future ready' in how that evolves.

  • Help drive a 'state-of-the-art' client Data Consulting offering and operating model.
  • Highlight how the cross-media opportunity can be tailored and delivered in new markets.
  • Contribute to develop and progress the data offering and build an understanding of these approaches within Ipsos.
  • Keeping current with new data developments, trends and ideas in the external market.
  • Work to maximise the impact and usage of AI/machine learning alongside existing data analytic approaches.
  • Take a privacy centric approach to the products ensuring that the role and solutions are based on the strongest privacy principles that maintain the commitments made by Ipsos on data protection.
  • Bring the analytic approaches to life through data visualisation and utilising business intelligence tools.
  • Strive to shift the business from ad hoc approaches to sustainable and repeatable product offerings.
What do I need to bring with me?
  • Extensive experience in a consulting environment or equivalent industry experience
  • Expertise in managing and activating large data sets to bring value to external clients.
  • Previous experience of utilising panel-based solutions and a clear understanding of what can and cannot be driven from panel data sets.
  • Able to provide solutions to clients to deliver on audience and advertising opportunities.
  • Proven track record in shaping and driving data, analytic solutions.
  • Business strategy acumen, e.g. business case development, identification of value opportunities for data and analytics, operating model design
  • The ability to assess and create an operating model, including organisational structure, the skillsets of employees and the culture of the organisation.
  • Experience of designing and delivering learning and development or capability building
  • Adept at working at all levels of the client's business.
  • Comfortable working in agile delivery models with a strong focus on speed and quality of execution
  • Experience of customer insight, media or marketing data.
