This role involves assisting with and undertaking routine residential conveyancing work, ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently and clients receive an exceptional standard of service.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport fee earners with a caseload of conveyancing mattersProvide fee quotations to clientsCarry out property searches and liaise with estate agentsPrepare standard contract documentationAssist with enquiries, exchanges, completions, and post-completion formalities (including Stamp Duty Land Tax, Companies House, and Land Registry registrations)Close completed files in accordance with proceduresMaintain accurate records of time spent on client and internal workKeep up to date with relevant legal developments and best practiceWork to department targets and objectives while maintaining high client care standardsPerson SpecificationEssentialLaw degree or relevant legal experienceUnderstanding of residential conveyancing processesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)Strong communication, planning, and organisational skillsAbility to work methodically in a process-driven environmentCommitment to delivering a high-quality serviceProfessional, positive, and flexible approachDesirableKnowledge of case management systems (particularly Visual Files)Understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules and Money Laundering RegulationsBenefits
