Location: Stevenage
Salary: Circa £50,000
Working: Hybrid - 3 days onsiteOur ClientA leading organisation within the defence sector is undertaking a major enterprise-wide change programme to implement a new S/4HANA system across their UK operations. The business values collaborative working, continuous improvement, and delivering high-impact solutions to support national defence objectives. The successful candidate will join a diverse, matrix-structured environment with opportunities for development and engagement in transformational projects.Key Responsibilities
  • Support the rollout of S/4HANA within procurement and supply chain functions
  • Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful implementation
  • Represent UK procurement and supply chain needs in design and delivery phases
  • Identify process improvements to maximise system benefits
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and training across teams
  • Coordinate with systems integrators and core project teams
Experience
  • Proven background in procurement and supply chain roles
  • Practical experience with SAP or S/4HANA platforms
  • Skilled in communication, influence and stakeholder management
  • Experience working in complex multinational, matrix organisations
  • Track record of delivering process improvements or transformational change
  • Ability to make informed decisions in ambiguous situations
  • Language skills in French or Italian are advantageous
Qualifications
  • Relevant procurement, supply chain or business qualification preferred
  • Security clearance to SC level or ability to obtain
