Job Title: Teacher - Fashion Business & RetailLocation: East MidlandsStart Date: 2nd September 2025Contract Type: Temporary (potential for extension)Hours: 22.2 hours per week (working days: Monday, Thursday, Friday)About the RoleAn FE college in the East Midlands is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher of Fashion Business & Retail to join their team from September 2025. This role covers delivery to Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 learners across both theory and practical sessions, as well as tutorials and personal tutor responsibilities.Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons in Fashion Business & Retail to L1-L3 learners
  • Conduct both theory and practical sessions
  • Deliver tutorials and act as a personal tutor
  • Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback (formative & summative)
  • Maintain accurate registers and complete required administrative tasks
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment
What We're Looking For
  • Level 4 or above qualification in Fashion Business or a related discipline
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification preferred
  • Experience teaching and/or assessing UAL qualifications is desirable
  • Strong organisational and classroom management skills
