We’re currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Team Leader to be based at our site in Sherburn In Elmet.The working hours are Shifts, on a rotational basis:Monday to Friday04:45 to 13:1513:45 to 21:1520:45 to 05:15Pay, benefits and more:We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £13.60 per hr, in addition and extra £2.73 ph when working between 1800-0600, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.   • Lead a team of warehouse operatives safely, efficiently, and fully compliant with site policies and procedures.
  • supervising the operation, motivate, encourage team to perform to the best of their ability.
  • Understanding the customer’s requirements, updating on customer orders and providing general customer feedback as required.
  • Maintain reports on productivity, including mitigation and opportunities to improve.
  • Contractor calls out as required.
  • Support the investigation of incidents as required.
  • Ensure all process and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
  • Essential: Previous knowledge of working within a warehouse environment
  • Essential: It’s important you have exposure of working in a fast-paced environment – no two days will be the same and we need you to think on your feet.
  • Essential: Good knowledge of warehouse management systems & microsoft packages.
  • Essential: Supervisory experience or demonstrable experience of stepping up to cover Supervisory role
  • Essential: Demonstrable experience of meeting customer requirements and meeting objectives/KPI’s that are set.
