Salary: £24,000The role will require a passionate, organised and highly motivated individual, preferably with experience of working in a Sales or Distribution role in a high-volume fast-paced environment, but we are also open to those with transferable skills for this entry-level position in the industry.
The role will involve working closely with the Senior Sales Manager to book classic films from Park Circus's vast library to cinema chains, cinematheques and film festivals. The role requires close collaboration with our Technical Operations, Finance and Marketing teams to deliver great customer service end to end. It is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the biggest cinemas in the world to promote and sell some of the greatest films in history, with opportunity to grow in the team. The role will primarily involve working with clients in the GAS and BENELUX regions (Germany, Austria, Switzerland & Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg). All communication with clients would be in English, unless applicant is bilingual (preferred but not essential).Role details

  • This role is open to applicants who can join the team in our Glasgow office – located centrally at Charing Cross. We offer hybrid working (by agreement with line manager) but initially at least the successful candidate would be required to be office-based for a training period working closely with the team.

Role responsibilities
  • Processing inbound theatrical sales enquiries from cinemas, cinematheques and film festivals across GAS/BENELUX, converting leads into to sales and responding to opportunities to upsell other relevant titles
  • Using the Park Circus Rights Management system (Arena) to accurately input, update and manage data from end to end of the sales process (contacts, leads, rights checks, bookings, marketing materials, technical materials, invoicing)
  • Process weekly screening reports to be sent to a range of studio partners, noting the importance of attention to detail and ensuring these are sent at set times
  • Working closely with Sales Managers on reporting in the relevant territories and measuring performance against Budget targets and strategies set by the senior team
  • Wider support of the Sales team as required
Person specificationsEssential:
  • Show high level of attention to detail and good organisational skills, noting a key responsibility in managing admin tasks/screening reports that must be sent on time
  • Work well on their own, under pressure and in a small team within a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to form strong relationships internally and externally by email, telephone and face-to-face
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to learn new skills quickly, as well as follow clear instruction
  • Ability to manage numerous priorities across multiple time zones
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve problems at an early stage
  • Show a good sense of initiative and happy to ask questions
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Preferred:
  • Interest and/or experience in Cinema distribution and exhibition
  • Bilingual, the role can be filled by a native English speaker but also note if proficient in German or French.
  • Good film knowledge and an interest in cinema!
