Platform Engineer (Stateful Platform)

• You’ll help us achieve this by making sure our platforms are secure, scalable and available, collaborating across teams to share and re-utilise good practice and technology stacks

• Making changes to the platform, adding new features and ensuring defects are resolved in a timely manner
• Creating solutions that enhance the developer experience and introducing new features through a self-service platform rooted in Kubernetes
• Designing and implementing solutions to increase the stability, resilience and security of our stateful platform
• Developing clean, elegant, and reusable code that is well tested and easy to maintain and extend

• Operational experience with distributed systems
• Experience developing with relational databases (Postgres/MySQL)
• Experience delivering cloud infrastructure with Terraform
• Good knowledge of Go
• Experience managing stateful workloads ideally in Kubernetes
• Knowledge and experience using a commercial cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
