Are you a Yard Operative living in the Halifax / Elland area looking for a new opportunity?Would a Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4pm shift appeal?Salary: £26,150p/a plus overtimeFull time, permanent positionThe role of the Yard Operative:As the Yard Operative you'll play an integral part in ensuring that the Service Centre and Workshop runs smoothly and efficiently. Not only will it be your job to prepare and clean the equipment ready for use and customers to hire but you’ll be responsible for the organisation of vehicles and plant equipment in the yard.Your duties will include:
  • Cleaning and preparing equipment, pre and post workshop
  • Liaising with the Service Centre and Workshop to organise vehicles and plant equipment within the yard to minimise delays
  • Plan and coordinate vehicle movements around the yard
  • Record all information, detail and photograph all vehicles and plant pre and post maintenance
  • Maintaining a clean and safe yard.
About you:This is a physically demanding job so you’ll need to have high level of physical fitness. Also as you’ll be moving vehicles around a yard, you will need to have a UK driving licence.
