- Oversee the pathway booking process for breast patients.
- Undertake appropriate clinical assessment of patients prior to, during, and post radiotherapy treatment.
- Assess, recognise, and manage radiotherapy radiation-induced toxicity and cancer-related side effects during and after treatment.
- Provide advice, information, and education and support to patients, carers, and their families, from the point of initial referral, throughout their treatment and into late follow-up.
- Make appropriate external referrals for patients and their families as required, before, during, and after radiotherapy.
- Ensure that the emotional and physical well-being of patients, families, and carers, are fully considered at all times, in the context of their care, and actively participate in decision-making.

- DCR(T) / BSc (Hons) Radiotherapy & Oncology
- HCPC Registration as Therapeutic Radiographer
- MSc level study in associated field of practice
- Ability to undertake independent prescribing within a Radiotherapy setting
- A specialised knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the radiotherapy service
- Expert leadership, knowledge and skills for specific area of practice
- Leadership experience
- Ability to lead research and audit to enhance radiotherapy practice for site specialty locally
- Ability to lead research and audit to enhance radiotherapy practice for site specialty locally
- Has an understanding of clinical governance and risk management
- DCR(T) / BSc (Hons) Radiotherapy & Oncology
- HCPC Registration as Therapeutic Radiographer
