"Every child needs a champion-LSAs are that quiet strength behind every student's growth."Are you a compassionate and patient individual with a passion for helping children reach their full potential?Could you be the calm presence a pupil needs to succeed in school?Are you passionate about helping children grow academically and emotionally?Randstad Education is partnering with schools across Castle point and are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their classrooms and play a key role in supporting students-especially those with additional learning needs.Being a Learning Support Assistant is more than just a job-it's a chance to empower children to overcome challenges and thrive in their learning.Whether you're starting out or bringing experience to the classroom, this role offers a rewarding path into education, SEN support, or teaching.Role & Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social/emotional challenges.
  • Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
  • Promote pupil engagement, confidence, and independence in learning.
  • Support class teachers in delivering inclusive education across the curriculum.
  • Assist with personal care or physical needs if required.
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, SENCOs, and parents/carers about pupil progress.
  • Foster a safe, calm, and positive learning environment for all.

  • An up to date enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN (in school or other settings).
  • A calm, nurturing, and patient approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential).
