Pay: £89 - £110 per dayAre you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrow is currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners by helping them overcome barriers and reach their full potential.As an LSA, you will work closely with class teachers and SEN professionals to support pupils with a range of educational needs. You'll play a key role in the classroom, offering both academic and emotional support to ensure every child feels confident, included, and capable of success.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
- Assist in tracking student progress and identifying areas where further support is needed
- Help adapt lesson content and resources to meet diverse learning styles and needs
- Support classroom management and encourage positive behaviour
- Liaise effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure consistency in support
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all students
- Experience working with children or supporting individuals with SEN (preferred)
- A warm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with young learners
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability and a proactive mindset
- A genuine interest in education and helping children thrive
- Ability to work in or travel to Harrow
