As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with students aged 11–16 with additional learning needs, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and social, emotional, or mental health challenges. You’ll provide targeted 1:1 support, deliver small-group interventions, and adapt classroom resources to ensure all pupils can access learning.This Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant position is particularly suited to Psychology, Education, or core subject graduates who are considering careers in SEN teaching, speech and language therapy, or child psychology.What’s on Offer:
- Full-time, long-term Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role (Monday–Friday)
- Earn up to £550 per week
- Based in a supportive Salford mainstream secondary school
- Ongoing CPD and mentoring from experienced SEN staff
- Excellent preparation for PGCE, MSc, or other professional pathways
- Placement beginning September 2025 with opportunities for progression
- Degree (2:1 or higher preferred) in Psychology, Education, or a core subject
- Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
- Resilient, patient, and confident in supporting students with additional needs
- Previous experience in care, tutoring, or youth work is beneficial but not essential
- Must have UK work eligibility (no visa sponsorship available)
