OUTSIDE IR35 Supervisor required for a 3 month contract on a Sub-Station improvement scheme in West Scotland. We will require you to hold experience as a Supervisor on groundworks as you assist with building a retaining wall at this Sub-Staiton.Key Responsibilities·Supervise and coordinate groundworks teams on site including plant operators, labourers, and subcontractors
·Oversee the construction of engineered slopes, including benching, layering, and compaction
·Manage installation of geogrid systems and slope reinforcement as per design specifications
·Liaise with the Project Manager and Engineers to ensure correct sequencing and compliance
·Monitor quality and health & safety standards at all times
·Maintain site records, toolbox talks, daily diaries, and progress updates
·Support environmental compliance including sediment control and reinstatement works
·Ensure efficient use of materials, plant, and labour within project budgetsRequirements·Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman/Supervisor on civil engineering or geotechnical projects
·CSCS and SSSTS or SMSTS certification (essential)
·Good working knowledge of geotechnical processes, reinforced earthworks, or slope construction
·Ability to read technical drawings and follow geotechnical specifications
·Familiarity with Tensar geogrids and ground reinforcement systems is highly desirable
·Competent in health & safety, risk assessment, and environmental controls
·Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
