As a Senior Safety Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of various projects by providing expert advice on Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulatory compliance. You will have the opportunity to lead projects as the Project Discipline Leader (PDL) and contribute to the development of essential safety and environmental deliverables.Key Responsibilities:
- Produce project safety and environmental deliverables, including HSE Plans, HSE Philosophy, and waste management plans.
- Actively participate in safety workshops such as HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, and SIL.
- Manage safety actions and ensure timely sign-offs.
- Liaise with clients and external stakeholders to foster strong working relationships.
- Serve as Project Discipline Lead, ensuring all deliverables align with project timelines.
- Provide technical support on HSE matters to various disciplines.
- Conduct thorough technical reviews of contractor documentation.
- Proven experience in energy projects, particularly in oil and gas design.
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively, delivering high-quality results on time.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK regulations and experience with IFC and World Bank standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in safety/environmental engineering and robust HSE knowledge.
- Exceptional skills in preparing high-quality HSE engineering documentation.
- Ability to critically review the work of others and conduct site surveys.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Prior experience in multinational FEED projects is a plus!

- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
