Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to offer a Clinical Fellow / Locally Employed Doctor (LED) role aimed at anaesthetists who are passionate about their career and looking to join a close-knit, dynamic and experienced team to deliver anaesthetic and critical care services. The role is ideally suited to those trainees looking to develop their portfolio in order to re-enter training to achieve CCT or embark on a CESR programme.If required the successful applicant will also benefit from the support from the College Tutor and a named Educational Supervisor to help achieve CT3/4 equivalent (stage 1 top up) training requirements where applicable.All Trust appointed doctors are required to engage with continuing professional development guided by the Royal College of Anaesthesia. There is also a programme of mandatory training which all relevant staff must complete as required.Main duties of the jobThe postholder would be expected to Anaesthetise and deliver all aspects of peri-operative care.
