They are currently looking to add a Recently Qualified Vehicle Mechanic to their vehicle workshop team.Job Description as Recently Qualified Vehicle TechnicianAs a Recently Qualified Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks aimed at diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. You will work alongside experienced mechanics to gain hands-on experience and further develop your skills in the automotive industry. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and diagnosing mechanical issues.
- Performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.=
- Effectively using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems.
- Assisting senior mechanics with complex repair tasks.
- Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Keeping accurate records of repairs and maintenance procedures.
- Recently qualified as a vehicle mechanic or have completed an accredited automotive mechanical qualification such as light vehicle maintenance and repair NVQ's, City & Guilds, IMI etc.
- A strong passion for automotive repair and a desire to learn and grow in the workshop.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
