This PSL position sits within a well-established Professional Support function, working alongside an experienced PSL and a junior legal assistant. The role supports a large, multidisciplinary Real Estate department covering investment, development, housing, construction, planning, and asset management.Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing and updating the team's know-how database and precedents
  • Producing guidance notes and legal updates, particularly in development, housing, and public sector law
  • Coordinating internal training and education programmes
  • Supporting fee earners with legal research and compliance matters
  • Assisting with government consultations and regulatory updates
  • Collaborating with innovation, marketing, and bids teams on internal and client-facing materials
  • Maintaining relationships with external bodies such as Land Registry and search providers
Shape knowledge strategy in one of the UK's top-ranked real estate teams.Work across diverse sectors with national reach and collaborative culture.The ideal candidate will have:
  • At least 4 years' PQE as a real estate lawyer
  • Strong experience in residential development and housing law, including public sector governance
  • Familiarity with automated precedents and emerging legal tech
  • Prior PSL experience is preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and mentoring skills
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and ability to work independently
