We have a new SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy available for a immdiate start.Key Details:Position: 1:1 SEN Teaching AssistantStudent:year 4 male studentLocation: LongsightStart Date: September 2025Hours: Full-timePay: Competitive, based on experience and nature of the roleAbout the Student:This student has autism and is non-verbal. When dysregulated, he may engage in self-injurious behaviour, such as hitting his head on the floor. He often requires time out of the classroom to regulate. Supporting him can be a challenging role, so we are looking for a resilient, experienced SEND Teaching Assistant who can remain calm under pressure, provide consistent support, and help him re-engage with learning in a safe and supportive way.We are looking for someone who is:Patient, proactive, and calm under pressureExperienced in supporting children with SEMH needsCommitted to building a trusting, consistent relationshipIf you are interested in this role please apply with your most up to date version of you CVEligibility Requirements:
