Grafton Banks Finance is delighted to be working with a successful and growing SME in Brighton who are looking to recruit a Temporary Bookkeeper to join their friendly finance team. This is a varied role, ideal for someone with strong all-round bookkeeping skills who enjoys working in a hands-on environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing purchase ledger and sales ledger, including invoice processing and reconciliations
  • Supporting with month end closures, with posting journals, accruals, and prepayments etc.
  • Processing payment runs
  • Assisting with credit control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • General finance administration and ad-hoc support across the team
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have previous experience in a Bookkeeper role (SME or practice background welcome)
  • Be confident using Sage, QuickBooks or Xero
  • Possess strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Be a proactive team player, able to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Ideally be AAT qualified (or qualified by experience)
