- Registered nursing qualification (Registered Mental Nurse or Registered Nurse in Learning Disabilities)
- Evidence of relevant nursing post registration qualifications, plus significant post registration experience at a Masters level or equivalent

- Relevant experience in management and leadership position(s). Clear clinical expertise in achieving quality care and positive patient experience in a multi-professional environment
- Detailed knowledge of day to day operational systems, policies, procedures and infrastructure
- Experience of teaching, influencing, negotiation and supervision
- Experienced of effecting positive change processes
- Managing budgets
- Appointing and managing staff
- Able to translate the strategic vision to the workforce
- Evaluating and auditing professional work
- Thorough knowledge of National Healthcare agenda, legislation and local agendas
- Detailed knowledge of day to day operational systems, policies, procedures and
- Maintenance and development of standards of care to meet the high standards of evidence based, high quality care in line with the 6C's, CQC outcomes and KPIs
- Able to communicate at a high level in the organisation. Sound judgement and decision-making skills
- Understanding of risk management and how to support the workforce deliver good governance
- The ability to problem solve and find solutions
- Able to translate the strategic vision to the workforce
- Plan, organise and manage change in relation to the services and the wider health and social care community
- IT skills in word and email
- Excellent written and report writing skills
- Participate in the Care Group silver on call rota
- Ability to travel across Trust sites
