- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or able to demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience.
- A suitable qualification in Medical Illustration or equivalent (other photography/ imaging qualification at degree level).
- Post graduate certificate in Clinical Photography.
- Eligible for AHCS registration.
- Evidence of CPD.
- Higher level Medical Illustration e.g. PgC.
- Management Leadership Qualifications.
- Knowledge of clinical conditions, anatomy and terminology.
- Clinical use of 3D capture.
- Significant experience and currently working in a healthcare clinical photography setting.
- Organisational, interpersonal and operational skills needed for post i.e. management of resources i.e. planning and delivery of service provision.
- Post registration experience of clinical photography modalities, e.g. all ophthalmic imaging modalities, dermatology.
- Experience of Adobe Creative Cloud software.
- Experience at a senior photographer level.
- Experience of supervision.
