- Owns the day-to-day Brand/Partner relationships with clear responsibility for specific Brands & projects, building long term collaborative relationships where appropriate
- Commercially astute & leverages insights to influence key stakeholders to add value & drive performance
- Responsible for the delivery of Bakkavor & Brand KPIs
- Leads communication across the Brand NWTs, pipeline & project activity
- Brings to life the Bakkavor values in how we do business
- In conjunction with overarching Brand strategy, creates, develops and implements Brand Plans, by leveraging all available insight & cross functional ways of working to generate commercial advantage
- Sets clear Brand objectives & gains 'by in' from key stakeholders
- In conjunction with HOC, creates a 3-year vision for all strategic Brands
- Responsible for the short & long term forecasting across Brand with appropriate plans to close gaps
- Media & Activation fund proposals, planning & tracking
- Responsible for communication of Brand catalogue, associated pricing & Brand Package stipulations/funding
- In conjunction with HOC, lead monthly internal brand meeting with the support of commercial manager
- Own end to end Brand promotional planning with processes in place to review effectiveness and plans to maximise performance
- Responsible for tracking Brand health metrics (e.g. awareness, consideration, loyalty)
- Manage cross functional workstreams to generate cost reduction plans within Brand with clear measures in place
- Responsible for Commercial adherence to the NPD process - ensuring all NPD / EPD follows the commercial sign off/procedure & aligns with brand identity & consumer expectations
- Responsible for AITB & sign off in conjunction with Commercial Finance teams
- Develops strategic thinking & presents NPD/Brand propositions to customers
- Supports Commercial Manager to develop propositions, selling strategy & negotiation tactics
- Responsible for Commercial PLR & key actions to improve KPIs with decisive actions
- Full understanding & detailed knowledge of relevant insights including market performance, competitor dynamics and key metrics. Abreast of key trends & impact they will have on our Brands
- Brand champion: always abreast of shopper behaviour, usage & occasion, key market trends and be able to work this directly into successful proposition building
- Create & implement plans to protect & grow Brand equity with plans in place to review effectiveness & maximise KPIs
- Responsibility for understanding and articulating brand purpose and consumer promise
- Ensuring that all brand plans are rooted in consumer insight and emotional connection
- Inspire, motivate and lead the team through collaboration, innovation & ensuring an open and inclusive culture
- Active & engaged member of the Commercial Customer family
- Encourage and engage in effective feedback promoting a balanced and constructive culture. Ensure each team member has a clear PDD with regular reviews to drive personal improvement / address any development needs
- Significant experience in Commercial Management & 'Brand' within Fresh Prepared Foods
- Bring clarity to processes that create & curate Brands, both owned & licensed
- Analytical/KPI driven & understands how to drive performance to achieve desired results
- Leads & builds trusting relationships by proactively engaging internal & external stakeholders, influencing through the Bakkavor values
