Role: Primary ECT/Graduate TeachersLocation: Bootle, SeftonWeekly Rate: £575-£700 per week (dependent on experience)Working Hours: Flexible hoursConnex Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Career Teachers to join our dynamic team of primary supply teachers around the Bootle area.Connex Education have a long-standing tradition of creating a platform for teachers to gain some invaluable teaching experience as you start out in your teaching career.As an ECT, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in multiple primary schools around Bootle and the North Liverpool area, while at the same time, Connex will be able to put your CV forward for potential long-term teaching roles starting in ASAP!About the Schools:Connex Education work in partnership with multiple primary schools across Liverpool. The schools generally require day-to-day sickness cover, part-time cover (half-days or 3 days per week), and long-term cover to recruit for permanent/temporary vacancies.About the role:Whether you are seeking short-term placements, long-term roles, or simply looking to gain experience across different schools, we have opportunities to suit your needs.The following are the type of bookings that might be available for you:
  • PPA cover for full days and half-days.
  • Daily sickness and course cover.
  • Part-time job-share bookings.
  • Full-time teaching bookings to cover sickness, maternity etc.
  • Termly bookings to support ECT induction.
  • SATS and Phonics intervention roles.

Qualifications and requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status or awaiting QTS.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to make a difference and inspire.
  • Strong classroom management.
  • Experience teaching in primary schools or on placements.
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through us.
  • Ability to provide 2 references.
