By becoming a Waking Night Support worker at The National Autistic Society’s Clayton Croft Children’s Home you’ll help make every day breakthroughs happen more often.Who we are looking for:Permanent Night Waking Support Workers to work at Clayton Croft residential children’s home at the Robert Ogden School, Clayton Lane, Thurnscoe, S63 0BG. You’ll be working with autistic children and their families in a residential environment.This residential service provides 24-hour support to children and young people aged 8 to 19 within the children’s home. We support to develop further social, communication, independence and coping skills. The house supports children and young people who are very active and outgoing and have a range of needs and individual challenges.As a Night Waking Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the children complete their night time routine, are safeguarded throughout the night, complete physical checks, document the children’s sleep patterns and food and fluid intake.Completing medication audits, witnessing medication, cleaning the home, food preparation as well as ensuring the children clothing is washed and ironed.
