Maintenance Operative | Manchester
On behalf of this property and accommodation business, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Operative in Manchester who has a good level of knowledge in plumbing.In this role, you will be responsible for light maintenance and plumbing duties around the various property locations and ensuring the properties are maintained to a high standard.Job Details
  • Salary starts at £28,340 per annum, rising to £28,840 after a successful 3-month probationary period.
  • Full-time / Permanent, working 5 days per week / 9am - 5pm
  • 40 hours per week (including paid 30-minute lunch break)
  • Langdale Hall / Victoria Park / Manchester
Does this sound like you?The role would suit an individual who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem solving and is capable in dealing with a variety of maintenance duties during their working day.The successful candidate should be competent in basic plumbing and be flexible and adaptable as the role will be varied depending on the maintenance requests received.The role will also involve some lifting and carrying, so you'll need a good level of physical health.A full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be an advantage.A full DBS check will also be mandatory.Skills & Experience required...
  • Previous hands-on work experience in a property maintenance role
  • Plumbing experience is essential
  • Speedy and effective reaction to problems and queries
  • Excellent level of customer service and friendly personality
  • Conscientious and will carry out work following health and safety guidelines
  • Ability to think through a problem to resolve issues
  • Able to work alone or as part of a team
