This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and high-performing payroll team within a leading, client-focused payroll bureau. Bureau experience is a must for this role.Due to continued growth, our confidential client is seeking a Payroll professional with a proven track record in high-volume processing, who thrives in a fast-paced and service-led environment. The role will be mainly office based with the option of 1 or 2 days remote after probation as well as a competitive salary of £28-30,000 and an excellent pension scheme.Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing across a varied client portfolio.
Deliver a high standard of customer service, acting as a key point of contact for client payroll queries.
Ensure compliance with current payroll legislation, including SSP, SMP, and HMRC processes.
Liaise directly with clients to ensure accurate and timely payroll submissions.
Support multi-frequency payrolls and maintain accurate payroll records.
Candidate Profile:We're looking to speak with payroll professionals who bring:
A minimum of 1 year experience in a payroll processing role.
Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation and processes.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Experience with payroll systems such as Sage and BrightPay.
A payroll or finance-related qualification (or equivalent hands-on experience).
Experience managing multi-frequency payrolls is advantageous.
