- Collaborate with professionals across health, education, and social care including Psychiatrists, GPs, Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers, planning and chairing multi-disciplinary/multi-agency professional and family meetings.
- Supervision, teaching and training of other healthcare professionals and supporting the research and development activities of Assistants and Trainee Clinical Psychologists.
- Contribute to service development, audit, evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.
- Utilise RiO care record system in accordance with Trust policy.
- Implement policies and participate in policy and service changes.
- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology. as accredited by the BPS or HCPC. Eligible for Chartered Clinical Psychologist Status of the BPS. Eligible for Full Membership of the BPS. Candidate must be HCPC registered.
- Skills in the use of complex methods of psychological assessment (including psychometric assessment), intervention and management, frequently requiring sustained and intense concentration.
- Knowledge of clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology as accredited by the BPS.
- Experience of working with neurodivergent adults (or children) and/or Good clinical understanding of ASC/ADHD
- IT skills, normally obtained through practice or practical training
