You will
  • Need expert clinical skills and demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide ranging and complex patient problems.
  • Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team. This multi-disciplinary team is made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals including; mental health, and substance misuse practitioners.
  • Act as a role model ensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at all times.
  • Supporting senior clinicians on site you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients.
  • As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team to ensure; patient safety, the management of complex cases and ensure the most up to date treatment methodology is applied to patient care.

  • Registered professional with current registration (NMC, HCPC)
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development
  • Masters in Advanced Practice or equivalent
  • Recognised prescribing qualification
  • Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards
