If so, we want to hear from you.We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global manufacturer with a well-established operation in Barnstaple, North Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join a forward-thinking business that supplies high-performance solutions across highly regulated sectors.What you’ll be doing:
  • Leading and mentoring a dedicated Quality team to achieve best-in-class performance
  • Owning and managing the site’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
  • Designing and executing internal audits, ensuring compliance and continuous readiness
  • Acting as the primary interface with customers on quality concerns, driving robust resolution processes
  • Championing a Zero Defects Culture, embedding quality awareness across all functions
  • Collecting and analysing quality data, identifying trends, and recommending improvements
  • Supporting wider Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the site
What we’re looking for:
  • In depth understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 audits (Certification ideal but not essential)
  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline (or similar)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage at all business levels
  • Advanced analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action
  • Proactive, problem-solving approach with a passion for improvement
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification would be ideal
  • A Quality Manager looking to continue their career progression
