As an English Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with the English department to support Key Stage 3 and 4 students
- Contribute to the delivery of engaging English lessons and targeted literacy programmes
- Provide focused 1:1 and small group support to students who require additional help in reading and writing
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation while promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Take part in extracurricular and enrichment activities to further support student development
- A degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related subject (2:1 or higher essential)
- A genuine interest in education and working with young people
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive, supportive, and positive approach to learning support
- Previous experience with young people is an advantage, though not essential
