Job Description:Your Tasks
  • The Sales Manager collaborates with the European Sales Manager in the definition and implementation of the sales and marketing activities of the division in its specific geographical area. The main target is taking on board new customers for CE, ISO and Testing Services, including Cross Sales on existing customers.
  • Negotiation with customer and prospects.
  • Sales Strategy Development and Execution:
  • Meet and exceed sales targets in responsibility for the MHS business unit.
  • Continuously establish and develop business relationships with potential and new customers,
  • Propose sales plans and strategies,
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for selling and marketing to medical device and in-vitro diagnostic manufacturers. Focus on acquiring new customers and expanding TÜV SÜD's share of existing customers' wallets through cross-selling.
  • Market Analysis,
  • Maximum 14% discount on external quote v.s..prices provided by the laboratories to the sales manager.
  • Setting the external price towards client that is optimized to what the specific market/client are available to absorb, to maximize net sales and profit.
  • Establish and manage a harmonized sales process in the Region of Responsibility from prospecting to closure, including prospecting, lead generation, opportunity management, client negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Establish and provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to the line manager highlighting performance metrics and actionable insights for improvements within your assigned regions.
  • Apply the authority defined by TÜV SUD Affiliates in corporate guidelines and procedures
  • Grant the correct implementation of procedure and guidelines of TÜV Italia, TUV SUD DK and TUV SUD UK Quality Systems.
  • Reject clients based on negative outcome from the credit check and/or not meeting the TS code of conduct
  • Collaborate with Europe sales and marketing to ensure that global sales processes are smoothly implemented within the European region.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling value propositions, sales collateral, and promotional campaigns, ensuring a cohesive approach to market penetration and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and sales success.
  • Collaborate with consultants, public and private entities to increase the TUV SUD visibility by organizing or patriciate into event, webinars, etc.
Your Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry, primarily in the medical device sector.
  • Proven track record with experience in sales, including sales management, preferably within the TIC industry or a related field, demonstrating the ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Strong understanding of European market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Able to coordinate several activities simultaneously
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, at all levels
  • Able to interact with clients, at all levels
  • Continued high performance in communication and collaboration internally as well as externally while being under high workload.
  • International exposure and flexibility, including travel
  • Good understanding of Risk Management and practice of Finance
