You’ll deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience. The role involves encouraging students to think critically, engage in respectful dialogue, and reflect on ethical and philosophical issues.Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver thought-provoking lessons on world religions, ethics, and philosophy
  • Support students in developing analytical and reflective thinking skills
  • Promote a respectful and inclusive classroom culture
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and contribute to the wider school community
  • Take part in professional development and mentoring, with support available for those working toward QTS
What We’re Looking For
  • A strong passion for Religious Studies and student development
  • For ECTs: Completion or near completion of Initial Teacher Training
  • For unqualified candidates: A solid academic background in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or similar, with a willingness to train
  • A commitment to inclusive teaching and student wellbeing
