Job descriptionSupply Teachers – Primary and Secondary – Chelmsford AreaHere at Prospero Teaching, we are on the Hunt for Supply Teachers for both Primary and Secondary Schools in the Chelmsford area.ABOUT THE ROLEProspero Teaching are looking for enthusiastic Supply Teachers to add to our team of flexible supply staff in the Chelmsford area.
  • Variety of mainstream secondary schools and Primary schools in and around Ipswich area.
  • Working with students in KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4
  • You will have a strong classroom presence and manage behaviour in line with the school policy.
  • Full time or part time flexible positions.
  • No lesson planning or marking.
  • We are looking for adaptable people as you may be covering a range of subjects during the day.
CONTRACT DETAILS
  • Location – Chelmsford and surrounding areas
  • Position – Supply Teacher Primary and Secondary
  • Type of work – flexible cover
  • Contract or position start date – ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration – ongoing
  • Contract or likely end date (if applicable) – ongoing flexible
  • Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – temporary
  • Full time/part time – Full time or part time
  • Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £130 – £145 per day
  • Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm, plus parents evenings
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ideally hold QTS or QTLS or equivalent.
  • Teaching experience ideally in the UK.
  • A passion for working with children and young people
  • You will be pro active and adaptable, with lots of energy and enthusiasm
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
