House Manager/Host role at the centre of a unique, premium hospitality offering.Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 gross per annum + potential bonus/incentive structureJob Summary:Set within 24 acres of stunning Cotswolds countryside, this exclusive estate is run as a luxury holiday let and homestay. Estate has been meticulously redeveloped over the last four years and will officially open its doors in January 2026. The estate requires an individual to offer a warm and welcoming front of house presence/concierge along with maintaining operational efficiency.Job specification:
  • Deliver a unique and personalised 5-star guest experience for guests with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the estate during guest stays.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests; plan and coordinate activities, reservations, and local experiences.
  • Maintain high service standards, swiftly resolving guest issues or requests.
  • Build and manage a network of local suppliers, tradespeople, and service providers (e.g., chefs, wellness professionals, tennis coaches, guided walks).
  • Manage procurement of groceries, household supplies, and liaison with laundry services and other providers
  • Coordinate check-in/check-out procedures and oversee all guest-facing operations
  • Schedule and supervise maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping staff as needed
  • Provide operational support and flexibility during guest stays
  • Possess commercial awareness, contributing to operational efficiencies and service profitability.
  • Responsible for assessing and reporting any damage/breakages and also updating inventory before and after every guest stay
  • Manage morning breakfasts / evening drinks as required by guests
  • Liaising with owner and booking / travel agencies including in advance of guest stays.
Candidate specification:
  • Proven experience in luxury hospitality, private households, high-end chalets, or boutique hotels.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Discreet, professional, and guest-focused with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Excellent local knowledge of the Cotswolds and surrounding areas - can be developed over time with support from owner and others.
  • Able to live off-site with flexibility to work extended hours when required (including remote trouble shooting for guests)
  • Full UK driving licence
