
Financial Planning Administrator

- Work closely with consultants to enable them to focus on the delivery of advice to clients, and anticipating and supplying what they or the client may need
- Provide input where appropriate and when requested, and provide any training, direction and support for others where needed
- Be a point of contact for clients, colleagues and external links
- Help to manage the consultant diary to help ensure the most effective use of their time
- Communications with clients, as appropriate, ensure that they are accurate and are fit for purpose
- Deal with all aspects of the new business process and ongoing servicing of clients' plans, liaising with colleagues in other service lines and product providers as appropriate
- Work closely with technical support to gather accurate information required for prepping / planning cases
- Proactively get involved and contribute ideas as part of continuous improvement
- Any other ad hoc duties
- A strong understanding of accounting and finance principles
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional services environment
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
