The school prides itself on providing high quality teaching and learning experiences for their pupils whilst being able to foster good relationships between home and school. The school help children achieve good standards of behaviour and self-discipline along with providing them an understanding of their own religion and demonstrating respect for others.The Primary School is looking to take on an experienced Teaching Assistant / TA that is familiar working with children who require additional learning needs. The successful candidate will be working closely with the class teacher to best support younger pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ADHD and challenging behaviour. This role will be a great opportunity to expand your classroom management skills and receive an abundance of experience to help build your CV.The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:
  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification OR 6 month experience in an educational establishment
  • Ability to use your initiative to respond to situations
  • A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
